Mindfulness For Wellbeing
|Unlock the power of being fully present. Imagine for a moment how much more productive and satisfying life may be once you learn to fully attend to the present moment, wherever and whenever that may be.
Studies have shown that practicing mindfulness, even for just a few weeks, can bring a variety of physical, psychological, and social benefits. Some of these benefits include a reduction in symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression, improvement in relationships, enhanced memory, and the ability to focus and concentrate (important for safety-sensitive positions), and generally improve your overall quality of life.
Group Sessions: (Group sessions run once per week for 8 weeks)
*No prior experience with mindfulness is necessary to participate in these groups.
Evening Group - Monday, September 25th, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Daytime Group - Tuesday, September 26th, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Mindfulness Weekend Intensives are designed for individuals who would like to learn skills to reduce stress, become more grounded and enhance their wellbeing through mindfulness. The weekend will include teaching as well as experiential exercises focusing on themes of body awareness, tolerance of distress, and self-compassion
*No prior experience with mindfulness is necessary to participate.
Saturday, October 21st & Sunday, October 22nd, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday, December 2nd & Sunday, December 3rd, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The drop-in sessions are designed for individuals who have previous mindfulness experience. Each session will involve experiential mindfulness exercises, focusing on different themes including body awareness, tolerance of distress and self-compassion.
*Prior experience with mindfulness is necessary to participate.
