Our EFAP Services
Borealis Counselling Services is an employer-sponsored benefit (EFAP) that provides confidential assessment, short-term counselling, and follow-up services to employees and family members of participating companies and organizations. Our goal is to assist employees and their family members to lead healthier and more productive lives through the alleviation of distress and suffering caused by a wide range of psychological and/or work-place related issues. Why have an Employee Family Assistance Program?
Research indicates that organizations that provide access to an Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) for their employees can significantly reduce the costs of doing business. For example, employees who use EFAP services often experience positive changes in their work performance, such as having fewer days late or absent, higher levels of work productivity, and improved work team relations.
